It is recommended in cases of diminished ovarian reserve, poor quality oocytes, or if the mother is a carrier/suffering from a genetic disorder that may transfer to the child. Oocytes are retrieved from donors. They are fertilised with your husband/partner’s sperm in the lab and the embryo is transferred to the womb as done in the IVF.
We adhere to strict guidelines by ICMR. The anonymity of the donor and tests for matching blood groups and ruling out infections in the donor are followed.
